Buckyfullerenes

Also know as Buckyballs, C60, these are new molecules of pure carbon which can be found naturally in multiple forms (also C28, C70, C84, C240, C540).

Nanotubes

Nanotubes, usually made from carbon atoms, have many uses.

Nanowicks

Nanowicks are dense mats of nanoscale fibers, which can be grown in a tailorable pattern (e.g. a spiral). Possible uses: fluidics logic, electrically controlled wicking, mixing of liquids. Work done by Flavio Noca, Michael Bronikowski, Elijah Sansom, Jije Zhou, Morteza Gharib at JPL
