Known MS-DOS issues 

The following are known Microsoft DOS issues and the resolutions to each of them if available.

When using Xcopy to copy the contents of a folder, the source folder's attributes are not applied to the new folder. The reason for this is because xcopy does not have the ability to copy attributes for folders, to fix this issue ensure that you do not have the folders attribed 

MS-DOS 6.2 and above will not accept or recognize more than 64 megs of ram when typing mem.

When using the mem /c command from a DOS window in Windows 95, the reason for this is because when Windows95 loads it reserves all global upper memory blocks for Windows 95.

When running a Windows 95 MS-DOS prompt in a window and pressing ALT + SPACE and continuing to hold down alt letting go of space and pressing tab to switch to another window the menu to switch to another application will stay up when letting go of all keys.

If a screen saver activates while in a Windows 95 DOS window the DOS window will be minimized when the screen saver is deactivated the reason for this is because Windows 95 was not made to restore MS-DOS windows to full-screen mode.

-When labeling a hard drive or disk drive make sure that you do not use extended characters doing so may cause scandisk when ran to say that there is a file that is being misreported attempt to fix it and may damage or destroy a drive.
